Faced Head Set

This is an open faced
headset kit to suit Cobra,Alan.Icom & Maxon radios with 2.5mm Microphone
/ 3.5mm Speaker connection. As you will see from the picture it comes
with Velcro earpiece about 3-4mm thick that fits snug into your helmet
and a boom microphone is supplied that will velcro into your helmet and
is adjustable so you can place it just in front of your mouth. The kit
has a plug & socket connector so you can disconnect at the helmet.
The main leads will then connect to the radio and there is another plug
& socket connector going to a P.T.T (push to talk) switch that as
a rider you would use on your handlebars and as the lead on the P.T.T
is about 25cm long you can disconnect at the plug & socket connector
before you dismount the bike. As a pillion rider you can either put the
P.T.T switch around the grab handle or around your finger and use your
thumb to press the switch. |
