On the open faced headset as you can see from the picture it comes with velcro earpiece, 3-4mm thick that fits snug into your helmet and a microphone which is on a boom so you can place the boom into a comfortable position suited to each person. The kit has a plug and socket connector so you can disconnect at the helmet. The main leads will then connect to the radio and there is another plug and socket connector going to a P.T.T (push to talk) switch, as a rider you would use the velcro loop around the handlebar and a lead on the P.T.T is about 25cm long which you can disconnect at the plug and socket connector before you dismount the motorcyle. As a pillion you can either put the P.T.T switch around the grab handle or around your finger and use your thumb to press. |
